Sofia Airport
Sofia airport is just 5km east of the city centre. Bulgaria’s capital is developing fast and this will accelerate with entry to the EU in 2007. This includes a $114 million expansion of the airport which includes a major runway extension and the construction of a new passenger terminal is scheduled for completion by mid 2006. The new facilities will be able to cater for 3.5 million passengers a year, with parking for 1500 cars and ample space for aircraft. The check-in area will have 20 new desks for rapid and stress-free embarkation. A major new tax-free and duty-free shop, featuring a wealth of international brands, will take pride of place. It will feature a “Spirit of Bulgaria” retail centre showcasing Bulgarian wines, brandies, rakees and other alcoholic drinks.

Bourgas Airport
Bourgas Airport, just 10km from the town centre, is situated right in the heart of the main resort and property investment hot spots. There are excellent transport links to the nearby resorts and a 24 hour multilingual information service.

Plovdiv Airport
Plovdiv Airport is just 15 minutes from Bulgaria’s second city and handles charter flights for the ski resorts of Borovetz and Pamporovo during the winter period. Borovets is about 60kms from Plovdiv - Pamporovo is about 90km away. The distance to the capital Sofia via highway is only 130km and takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
There is ample parking for cars and buses.
